About Mr Bidemi Adebayo Alli

Personal Profile

Mr Bidemi Adebayo Alli is a highly experienced Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon with a sub-specialist interest in rhinology and facial plastic surgery. He combines a strong academic background with extensive clinical and surgical expertise, delivering care that is both technically excellent and deeply patient-centred.

Mr Alli trained in medicine at the University of Oxford, where he was awarded a distinction and scholarship for his undergraduate dissertation. His academic achievements reflect his commitment to rigorous study and innovation; qualities that continue to underpin his clinical practice today.

He completed his higher surgical training in the Yorkshire Deanery (2014–2017) and the Severn Deanery (2017–2021), gaining experience in leading centres including Leeds General Infirmary, Bradford Royal Infirmary, Bristol Children's Hospital and Bristol Royal Infirmary. His broad training enabled him to develop expertise in managing both adult and paediatric ENT conditions across secondary and tertiary care settings.

Mr. Alli further advanced his skills during a 12-month General Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) Fellowship (2021–2022) at Manukau Superclinic & Surgery Centre and Middlemore Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand. This provided specialist training in advanced nasal and head and neck surgery. This included sinus surgery, excision of sinus and nasal tumours, septorhinoplasty, thyroid and salivary gland surgery, and minimally invasive salivary gland endoscopy.

Since August 2022, Mr. Alli has worked as a Consultant ENT Surgeon at the Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where he also served as ENT Clinical Governance Lead (2022-2025). In this leadership role, he was responsible for ensuring patient safety, service quality and continuous improvement across the department. In September 2025 he was appointed ENT Clinical Lead at the Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
