Mr Amr’s medical career began in Egypt, where he earned his bachelor degree from Cairo University. Following this, he achieved a master's degree from Ain Shams University and completed his foundational surgical training. His pursuit of advanced expertise led him to the United Kingdom, where he undertook higher surgical specialty training within the Southwest Peninsula Deanery. He subsequently completed a senior fellowship in Bariatric Surgery at Musgrove Park Hospital. This is a nationally-recognised centre for metabolic and weight-loss surgery. Academically, Mr Amr holds a medical doctorate from Plymouth University and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS Ed). His qualifications reflect a deep commitment to clinical excellence and continuous professional development.
