After having obtained his medical degree from Oxford University Babar completed Basic Surgical Training in Cambridge and his Neurosurgical training program in London. He developed a clinical and research interest in Brain tumour surgery leading to a PhD from Imperial College London.

He has a specialist interest in Neuro-oncology, minimally invasive technologies and using machine learning in surgery and healthcare. He is experienced in designing and managing clinical trials of emerging medical technology for brain tumours.

Babar helps to deliver cutting edge brain tumour surgery to the Essex and Northeast London region.
