Dr Abdullah is a highly accomplished Consultant Rheumatologist with nearly two decades of international clinical experience across Pakistan, Ireland, and Scotland. He graduated from univeristy of Heath Sciences, Pakistan in 2005.
Dr Abdullah pursued advanced medical training in Dublin, Ireland before being selected for the prestigious Rheumatology and Internal Medicine specialty program within the West of Scotland deanery in 2016. He brings nearly two decades of medical expertise, specialized training, and academic excellence to his practice. He has worked as a consultant Rheumatologist in Ayrshire and Forth Valley. Dr Abdullah is an honorary clinical lecturer at the University of Glasgow and has been awarded a Fellowship degree by the Royal College of Edinburgh in 2024.
In addition, he supports postgraduate training and serves as an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians. Beyond his clinical role, Dr Abdullah is a trained medical appraiser, approved supervisor for doctors in training and holds formal postgraduate qualifications in clinical education, healthcare leadership, and musculoskeletal ultrasound. He has presented his work at national and international conferences and written articles for peer-reviewed journals. He has reviewed local and regional biological treatment pathways. His procedural skills include performing musculoskeletal ultrasound ,joint and soft tissue injections, with a particular focus on diagnostic and therapeutic management of wide range of rheumatological conditions. He has a keen interest in cricket, music and travel.
