About Mrs Aysha Farukh Qureshi

 Mrs Qureshi is a Consultant Gynaecologist with over 25 years of experience in the speciality. She graduated from King Edwards University of Medical Sciences in Lahore, Pakistan, before undertaking specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Oxford Deanery. 

Mrs Qureshi is one of the senior-most consultants at the Royal United Hospital (RUH). Including, being the RUH lead for Urogynaecology, Pelvic floor disorders, Paediatric and adolescent gynaecology, Fibroid management and the menopause.

Mrs Qureshi has practiced at Bath Clinic for over 15 years. Mrs. Qureshi specialises in managing a wide range of gynaecological conditions, including pelvic floor disorders, prolapse, urinary incontinence, pelvic and gynaecological pain, menorrhagia, hysterectomies, menopause management, and menstrual disorders.

Mrs Qureshi prides herself on providing evidence-based, high-quality clinical care tailored to each patient’s individual needs. Her approach is rooted in compassion and active listening, ensuring patients feel heard and supported throughout their gynaecological journey.

Mrs Qureshi says ‘I aim to provide a joint service, working as a team with my patients and listening sensitively and taking on board their concerns as an individual’

Mrs Qureshi believes in 'women centred quality of life' which is very evident when she is sat with her patients discussing their concerns. She provides clear and concise information, striving always to put the woman at the heart of all treatments. "Listening and discussing options of management which are evidence based is the key. I have, despite my seniority in the field, always kept up to date with training and new better emerging treatment options. This enables me to provide current and state of art treatment to my patients." 

Mrs Qureshi believes that her career has been marked by longstanding relationships with patients, often caring for the same individuals through various stages of their lives- from adolescence to menopause and beyond. This continuity of care has allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the gynaecological life journey.

Mrs. Qureshi is also an accomplished surgeon with a strong reputation for safety and patient satisfaction. Her additional training in ultrasound enables her to offer an even more comprehensive service.

Mrs Qureshi is an accredited menopause specialist as well as an actively training others in this area. She is also a trainer and accredited for the FSRH (faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare)  She is an educational and clinical supervisor to training doctors in the speciality. Mrs Qureshi also trains General Practitioner’s in this field and is always making sure that Primary and secondary care are linked to provide excellent seamless care to the patients 

Outside of her professional commitments, Mrs. Qureshi is a proud mother and grandmother. She enjoys cooking and entertaining, gardening, home interiors, and celebrating her cultural heritage. She cherishes the balance between her fulfilling career and her loving family life.
