Dr Abbasi trained in gastroenterology, hepatology & therapeutic endoscopy at St Mark's Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital, St Mary's Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital in London.
Dr Abbasi has performed over 5,000 diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower gastrointestinal procedures in the last 10 years.
Dr Abbassi has been formally assessed as competent to a standard commensurate with specialist practice to perform Screening Derived Colonoscopy approved by the Joint Advisory Group (JAG) on Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
