Mr Anthony Blacker had been working at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire as a Consultant Urologist since 2005.
He specialises in surgery of the kidney using the most modern and appropriate techniques, including robotic, laparoscopic, retroperitoneal, transperitoneal, open, ureteroscopic and percutaneous (PCNL).
As well as common kidney operations, he is also skilled in partial nephrectomies using open, laparoscopic and robotic techniques. Rather than traditional percutaneous (PCNL) surgery, he is sometimes able to offer patients day case ureteroscopy and laser, even for treatment of large kidney stones.
