About Mr Angus Campbell

Personal Profile

Mr Campbell completed his post-graduate medical training in the Thames Valley Region and was awarded membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2012. Mr Campbell was ranked 1st in national selection for Urological specialty training which he completed in 2021 and became a Urological Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. 

Mr Campbell trained specifically in Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate HoLEP surgery and Endourology at Luton & Dunstable Hospital where he developed his expertise in performing HoLEP procedures in 2022. Mr Campbell was subsequently appointed to a substantive NHS consultant post at Milton Keynes in 2022 to develop the HoLEP and bladder outflow surgery service.

Mr Campbell has clinical expertise in all areas of endourology, andrology and urological oncology. He is active in academia and has presented his work at several national and international conferences. He has first author publications of his work in peer reviewed journals and reviews submitted manuscripts before publication.

In his spare time Mr Campbell is a keen sailor who is Royal Yachting Association certified and has competed in dinghy and international yachting regattas in the UK and the Caribbean. On-shore he is an enthusiastic road and cross-country cyclist.
