Mr Andrew M Felstead MBChB(Hons) BDS MFDSRCS(Eng) FRCSEd(OMFS) is a Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at Royal United Hospital NHS Trust Bath. Andrew obtained undergraduate degrees in dentistry and medicine from the Universities of Birmingham and Bristol respectively.

He went on to complete training in surgery in general with posts in trauma and orthopaedics, general and neurosurgery leading to the MRCSEd examination. He then returned to his parent speciality for a 5 year specialist training programme in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in the South West of England gaining the FRCSEd(OMFS) examination.

He is on the GMC specialist register for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Andrew is experienced in the whole remit of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery including facial trauma and the management of facial deformity. He has a particular interest in head and neck cancer, salivary gland disease and treatment of skin cancer of the head and neck. He is an active member of the head and neck and skin cancer multidisciplinary teams at the trust. He is involved with university teaching of undergraduate and post graduate dental and medical students.

He is an honorary clinical tutor in head and neck anatomy for the Severn Deanery school of surgery and has a number of publications in peer reviewed journals.
