Dr Andrew Lock is a UK-trained Consultant Dermatologist. He completed his Medical Science degree at the University of Birmingham and then his medical degree at the University of Nottingham.
Dr Lock completed his Foundation training in Derbyshire, followed by core medical training at Bath Royal United Hospital. He completed his specialist dermatology training at Queen Alexandra Hospital Portsmouth, Royal London Hospital (Barts Health NHS Trust), Royal Free Hospital and Homerton University Hospital in London.
He currently works as a substantive NHS Dermatology Consultant at the Homerton University Hospital, where he is a core member of the skin cancer multidisciplinary team and Clinical Lead for Teledermatology. His role also includes teaching and supervising GPs, junior doctors, and Medical students.
Dr Lock is a medical dermatologist and will see adults with a range of dermatology conditions. His clinical interests include but are not limited to the assessment and dermoscopy of moles and skin lesions, skin surgery, warts, skin cancer, eczema, urticaria (hives), psoriasis, rosacea, acne, and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).
