About Mr Andrew Lale

Personal Profile

In 1987 Mr Lale studied for a bachelor of science in medical biochemistry obtaining a first class honours degree. He qualified as a medical Doctor in 1990. Following his year as a houseman he trained and studied in various surgical specialities ultimately obtaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Following this General Surgical qualification Mr Lale did further specialist junior training in Cambridge in Ear Nose and Throat surgery and subsequently trained as a Registrar in Oxford for 6 years to obtain in his FRCS (ORL-HNS). During this extensive training he received a broad base of knowledge including all adult and general ear nose and throat disorders and surgery appropriate to these disorders.

Towards the end of his training he specialised in rhinology and nasal surgery with further training in America and other specialist centres in the UK. Mr Lale has been a Consultant Ear Nose and Throat surgeon based in West Dorset since Jan 2005.
