Dr Anand Singh is a highly experienced Consultant Respiratory Physician with over a decade of experience in the field. He is currently based at The Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow, and Syon Clinic in Brentford, West London. He also practises at Watford General Hospital and Hemel Hempstead Hospital, which are part of the West Hertfordshire teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Dr Singh's extensive experience includes previous work at Glenfield Hospital and the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals. Throughout his career, Dr. Singh has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to innovation in patient care, particularly during the challenging circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic. He was an integral part of the high dependency unit team in the West Hertfordshire NHS Teaching Hospitals. The team's innovative approaches to patient care, which included the use of telephone and audio-visual consultations, were recognised with the BMJ Respiratory Team of the Year Award in 2021.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Singh is deeply involved in medical education and mentorship. He mentors candidates preparing for the European Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine and has authored resources for the Respiratory Medicine Speciality Certificate exam. His dedication to teaching underscores his commitment to the next generation of respiratory specialists, ensuring they are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide excellent patient care.
