Dr Shenouda is a Consultant Haematologist at Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley, West Midlands, where he has been a consultant since 2022. He has more than nine years of experience in haematology and completed his specialist training within the West Midlands Deanery.
He has a broad clinical expertise in both benign and malignant haematological conditions, with particular interests in the diagnosis and management of leukaemias, lymphomas and myeloma. He also has extensive experience in haemostasis and thrombosis, and in the management of patients undergoing autologous stem cell transplantation.
Dr Shenouda provides specialist assessment and treatment for a wide range of abnormal blood counts, including anaemia, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, lymphopenia, polycythaemia and thrombocytosis. His previous extensive experience in internal medicine has given him a comprehensive understanding of the care of patients with complex medical conditions, particularly those requiring inpatient management.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Shenouda is actively involved in clinical research and participates in a number of clinical trials at Russells Hall Hospital. He has contributed to several research papers, publications and case reports. He is also the Educational Lead and Haemoglobinopathy Lead within his department, reflecting his commitment to education, professional development and improving standards of patient care.
