Dr Amar Karmarkar graduated from India and was awarded a MD in Anaesthesia. He came to the UK for higher training and achieved fellowship from the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
Dr Amar Karmarkar also has a speciality interest in chronic pain management and have attained a fellowship from the faculty of Pain Medicine, UK. Dr Karmarkar routinely anaesthetises patients having ENT, dental and trauma surgery.
He undertakes outpatient clinics for patients with chronic pain. He is also skilled in performing various procedures for chronic pain patients including facet joint, sacroiliac joint and epidural injections. He has a special interest in managing chronic low back pain and neuropathic pain.
