Personal Profile

Dr Amar Karmarkar graduated from India and was awarded a MD in Anaesthesia. He came to the UK for higher training and achieved fellowship from the Royal College of Anaesthetists.

He has a special interest in chronic pain management and has attained a fellowship from the Faculty of Pain Medicine, UK. Dr Karmarkar routinely anaesthetises patients having ENT, dental and trauma surgery.

He undertakes outpatient clinics for patients with chronic pain, and is also skilled in performing various procedures for chronic pain patients, including facet joint, sacroiliac joint and epidural injections. He also has a special interest in managing chronic low back pain and neuropathic pain.
