Mr Alistair Slesser is a Consultant Colorectal and General surgeon at The Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospitals. He undertook his higher surgical training in West London and trained at several colorectal tertiary centres including the Royal Marsden Hospital and St Mark’s Hospital.
In 2016, Mr Alistair Slesser was awarded a Doctorate by Imperial College London for his research into colorectal metastatic cancers based at the Royal Marsden Hospital. He maintains an interest in academia with over thirty peer reviewed publications and is active in training junior surgeons.
As a member of an experienced Colorectal unit he mainly focuses on performing cancer surgery but also performs bowel resections for benign conditions such as diverticular disease. He also has an interest in large abdominal wall hernias and gallstone disease.
Mr. Slesser is happy to treat patients without a referral letter.
