Consultant colorectal surgeon with particular expertise in laparoscopic surgery for colon and rectal cancer, surgery for internal and external rectal prolapse, and diverticular disease.

Also colonoscopy and common and rare anorectal problems such as haemorrhoids (using suture haemorrhoidopexy procedures to avoid painful excisional surgery), fistula-in-ano, pilonidal disease and fissures.

Open and laparoscopic hernia and  gall bladder surgery commonly performed.

Trained in central southern England and Western Australia before completing a pelvic floor fellowship in Oxford.

Consultant at The Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospitals since 2011.

Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London.

Member of the London Cancer Alliance Colorectal Cancer Working Group.

Involved in numerous other training and management roles.
