Mr Shoakazemi is a UK trained consultant neurosurgeon. He is fellowship trained in north America and completed a prestigious skull base fellowship in Manchester. He is subspecialised in Cranial neurosurgery. He has an interest in skull base surgery, Brain tumours, pituitary surgery, vestibular schwannoma, trigeminal neuralgia and other cranial procedures. Additionally, he treats patients with back pain, degenerative spine and disc disease.

He is currently working as a substantive consultant neurosurgeon at Queen’s Hospital where he is an active member of skull base MDT and neuro oncology MDT.

He has published extensively in peer review neurosurgical journals.
