Dr Kirjazovas trained in Neurology at Kaunas Medicine Academy/Clinical Hospital and Vilnius University and Emergency Hospital, Lithuania and worked as a Consultant Neurologist at latter hospital from 1995 – 2005.

He was also a Consultant Neurologist at Royal Preston Hospital between 2006-2008, and has held the position of Consultant Neurologist at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust since 2008. Dr Kirjazovas has been an Honorary Consultant Neurologist at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital Sheffield since 2008.
