Mr. Hariri is a highly accomplished consultant ENT surgeon with a specialisation in head & neck and thyroid conditions, as well as extensive experience in general adult and paediatric ENT surgery. Graduating with distinction in surgery from Imperial College London in 2012, he embarked on a rigorous training pathway that included prestigious institutions such as Manchester Royal Infirmary, St Bartholomew’s & The Royal London Hospitals, Charing Cross Hospital, St Mary's Hospital, the Royal National ENT Hospital, and the Royal Marsden Hospital. His pursuit of excellence led him to further refine his skills through an advanced fellowship in South Korea and China, focusing on minimally invasive and robotic surgery, including scarless thyroid surgery, making him one of the few surgeons in the UK to offer these specialised procedures.
Mr. Hariri's NHS practice is based at North West London University Hospitals NHS Trust (Northwick Park Hospital) and The Hillingdon Hospitals Foundation Trust (Mount Vernon Hospital). At these institutions, he plays a pivotal role as a core member of the regional Head & Neck Cancer Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care. In his role as Lead for Clinical Governance in ENT, he is dedicated to upholding and advancing clinical standards, reflecting his commitment to excellence in patient care. Mr. Hariri offers a broad range of expertise in General ENT, with particular interest in the management of both benign and malignant disorders affecting the airway, swallowing, and salivary glands. His subspecialty focus on complex thyroid conditions and minimally invasive head and neck surgery allows him to provide highly specialized care to patients with these challenging conditions.
Beyond his clinical practice, Mr. Hariri is deeply involved in research and academic pursuits. He is widely published in peer-reviewed journals, has co-authored several book chapters, and is a sought-after faculty member and speaker at national and international conferences. His commitment to innovation in healthcare is exemplified by his work on a digital platform for healthcare courses, and his efforts have been recognized with multiple awards, including an ENT-UK grant aimed at developing a sustainable surgery platform.
Teaching and training the next generation of healthcare professionals is a key aspect of Mr. Hariri's career. As an Educational and Clinical Supervisor at the award-winning ENT training unit at Northwick Park Hospital, he is deeply involved in mentoring trainee doctors and medical students, helping shape the future of ENT surgery. Mr. Hariri's approach to patient care is deeply patient-centered, emphasising the importance of knowledge and shared decision-making in empowering patients to make informed choices about their health.
