Mr. Tillu completed his MBBS and Master’s degree in Orthopaedic Surgery from Bombay University, where he received several academic awards and honours. He furthered his training in the UK, specializing in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery.
With over 35 years of experience in musculoskeletal problems, he holds multiple degrees in Orthopaedics, a diploma in sports medicine, and a diploma in medical acupuncture. He has also been associated with the British Olympic Society.
Mr. Tillu has a strong academic background, having published several research papers in peer-reviewed journals and been actively involved in teaching medical students and Orthopaedic Trainees in Birmingham.
After years of surgical practice, he recognized the benefits and limitations of surgical procedures. He now focuses on treating musculoskeletal problems non-surgically whenever possible, believing that most can be managed effectively without surgery. He employs various techniques, including acupuncture, electroacupuncture, intramuscular stimulation, and local anaesthetic injections.
Mr. Tillu holds a diploma in Sports Medicine and Medical Acupuncture. Previously, he worked with the British Olympic Association as a sports specialist. He specializes in the nonoperative management of sports injuries, chronic musculoskeletal pain, and back and neck pain.
He offers treatments for early arthritis, tendonitis, muscle injuries, Achilles tendon issues, bunion surgery, carpal tunnel syndrome, shoulder problems, and tech neck.
At Syon Clinic, Mr Tillu will work as a General Orthopaedic surgeon. He can also provide treatment for Carpal Tunnel and Trigger Finger.
Please note that Mr Tillu is able to see patients without a GP referral letter.
