Mr Abdelbar Is a consultant cardiac surgeon at the Alexandra hospital in Manchester and Manchester Foundation trust (Wythenshawe hopital).
He Graduated from Ain Shams university in Cairo, Egypt. Trained at the National Heart Institute (NHI) which is one of the largest cardiac surgery hospitals in the middle east providing extensive training opportunities. He became a specialist in NHI before moving to Manchester Foundation Trust (MFT).
As Mr Abdelbar is interested in endoscopic cardiac surgery, he completed a fellowship at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals (BTH) with an extensive clinical and academic productivity. He is a faculty in many courses that train in endoscopic cardiac surgery.
Mr Abdelbar has played a key role in setting up the Endoscopic cardiac surgery program at the Alexandra hospital.
Mr Abdelbar worked as a consultant cardiac surgeon in National Heart Institute of Egypt, Leeds Teaching Hospital, Manchester Foundation Trust and Alexandra hospitals. He is also a visiting cardiac surgeon in hospitals
