Following a period of investment and renovation at The Saxon Clinic, in 2020 we are able to open our doors to the hospitals brand new, private MRI suite and imaging department, providing on-site MRI, X-ray and ultrasound services.
The Imaging Department offers our patients fast and easy access to a wide range of diagnostics services using the most advanced techniques and specialist equipment.
The centre is staffed by a team of experienced radiographers and specialist nurses, and appointments are typically available within 24 hours. For those with immediate needs, urgent reports are available and faxed on the same day.
Radiology is the medical specialty that uses imaging in order to diagnose and treat diseases within the human body. Various techniques are used by Radiographers such as the ones listed under CT, MRI, Ultrasound and X-ray.
Our dedicated x-ray facilities allow our Consultant Radiographers to perform a wide range of x-ray procedures including orthopaedic, intravenous and urography radiography.
The rooms are spacious, well-equipped and are built to ensure patient comfort, dignity and privacy are maintained at all times.
All images taken are scanned into our Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) and scan results and reports are made readily available to view by the consultant leading your treatment.
