Our network of hospitals offers access to our team of experienced chartered physiotherapists and state registered occupational therapists who are all registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy/British Association of Occupational Therapists. Our physiotherapists are expected to meet the CSP Standards of Physiotherapy Practice and each has to maintain a record of their Continued Professional Development. All our departments are audited and staff registration is checked at every site.
We offer a wide range of therapeutic interventions with clear evidence based protocols. We recruit, train and support the development of clinical specialists in a multitude of clinical areas including women's health, hand therapy, respiratory, vestibular and musculoskeletal injuries. We ensure that our therapists have the tools and equipment to provide a wide variety of treatments according to the latest evidence base. We are able to treat many injuries and conditions including back and neck pain, repetitive strain injuries, joint pain and arthritis, muscle injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, medical conditions and sports injuries.
You can self refer without seeing your GP and make an appointment directly with a physiotherapist, alternatively you can ask your GP or Consultant to refer you. Physiotherapy may be covered by your medical insurance. You will need to check your cover with your insurer first as some providers request the GP makes the referral. On your appointment day you can pay for your treatment by cash; debit or credit card.
Your initial appointment will involve a 45 minute assessment of your condition so that a treatment programme can be specifically developed with you. Further sessions will consist of 30 minute appointments. Fees for a 45 minute assessment start from £54.00, with follow up appointments starting from £42.00.
We will then provide you with a bespoke exercise programme to aid your recovery. We also offer a wide range of specialist physiotherapy sessions and clinical therapies that may be used to augment your bespoke treatment programme.
