Previously Dr Monelle was also a partner at the Landsdowne Surgery in Devizes, until May 2016 when he made the decision to work solely in the private sector.
Dr Monelle qualified in Physiological Sciences from Oxford University before completing his medical degree in 1990 at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, London. He returned to Oxford for GP training before spending some time working as a GP in the emergency service in Australia.
He returned to the UK after two years and settled in Wiltshire working initially as a GP/locum until he became a partner at his practice in Devizes where he worked for 14 years.
Dr Monelle lives in Wiltshire with his wife. He maintains a keen interest in running and has completed numerous half marathons and a few marathons/ultramarathons.
