Mr Guy McWilliams

Since February 2005 I have been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Calderdale and Huddersfield providing knee and hip replacement and revision hip surgery. I also participate in general elective orthopaedic work and I am on call for acute trauma. At The Huddersfield Hospital, I offer total hip replacement surgery and revision hip replacement surgery. 

I have also completed two specialist fellowships in lower limb Arthoplasty and I am on the teaching faculty (Leeds Hip & Knee course for surgeons).

As of March 2020, on the National Joint Registry, 2,035 total hip replacement 377 revision hip replacements and 265 total knee replacements have been performed by me.

I am a member of the Court of Examiners of The Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS - entry examination for surgery).

I examine for the exit Orthopaedic examination for the Colleges of Surgeons of London/Glasgow/Edinburgh and Dublin.

GMC 5 year revalidation December 2021 and compliant with Annual NHS appraisal.
