Clinical Interests

As an interventional cardiologist, I have performed well over 1,000 percutaneous coronary interventions. I undertake detailed intracoronary imaging (optical coherence tomography and intravascular ultrasound) and physiological assessments (pressure wire) to guide my decision making and have experience and dedicated training in complex percutaneous coronary interventions including chronic total occlusions, bifurcations and rotational atherectomy. In addition, I have expertise in optical coherence tomography (OCT) from my post-doctoral research which involved investigating the molecular mechanisms contributing to patients having acute heart attacks.
