Dr Sonny Chong

Dr Chong runs a paediatric gastroenterology service at Queen Mary’s Hospital for Children at St Helier Hospital, Surrey which cares for children with a wide range of gastrointestinal (GI) and nutritional problems, namely children with severe constipation, gastroesophageal reflux (GORD), cyclic vomiting syndrome, coeliac disease and chronic inflammatory bowel disease (CIBD).

We also care for children with complex gastrointestinal and nutritional problems with neurodevelopmental handicap from our district and the Children’s Trust in Tadworth. These include children with GORD, with gastrointestinal bleeding, and provide a service for percutaneous gastrostomy, or gastrostomy buttons for long term enteral feeding.
