Solomon Abramovich is a Consultant Otolaryngologist or ENT Surgeon. He was appointed to the consultant staff of St Mary's Hospital, Imperial College and Central Middlesex Hospital becoming a senior Consultant Surgeon of the ENT Department before leaving NHS in 2016 to concentrate on independent private practice. Mr Abramovich is happy to undertake the full range of general ear, nose and throat conditions, but has specific interests in adult and paediatric otology, balance disorders, skull base and sinus surgery. Having played the violin in the orchestra, he has a specialist interest in music and related hearing and voice disorders in professionals. 

Solomon Abramovich qualified as a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) and Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians (LRCP) in 1977 and trained in Oxford and London teaching Hospitals, including the Hammersmith Hospital, University College Hospital, St Bartholomew’s Hospital and The National Hospital for Neurosurgery. He was a Clinical Research Fellow in the University of Toronto. He was an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London. He is fully registered with the General Medical Council (Registration Number: 2373900) and his name appears on their Specialist Register for Otolaryngology. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a member of the British Association of Otolaryngologists & Head and Neck Surgeons (BAOHNS) and the European Academy of Otology & Neuro-Otology (EAONO).He was a member of the council of the Royal Society of Medicine section of Otology. He was a member of the scientific committee of the International Meniere’s Society, International Barani Society and founding member of the British Cochlear Implant Group.

Mr Abramovich has the accolade of being listed in Tatler magazine's 'Britain's 250 best private doctors' for the past three years.

He has written numerous scientific publications and chapters in medical textbooks as well as publishing a book on Electric Response Audiometry in Clinical Practice. He has also produced TV medical scientific films in collaboration with Channel 4 and BBC on early detection of hearing loss in children and on cochlear implants.

He has trained many ENT Surgeons and conducted Micro Surgery of the Ear and dissection courses in Paris and St Marys Hospital Imperial College. He taught and lectured at international courses and academic meetings in Denver, Colorado, Miami, Palm Beach, Toronto, Paris, Cannes Vilnius Lithuania, Cairo, Kathmandu , St Petersburg, Madrid, Rome, Wurzburg, Further information about his publications are in the 'Academic' section of his web site.
