Dr. Shaaira Nasir is a UK trained Consultant Dermatologist. She graduated from the National University of Ireland in 2007 and completed her higher specialty training in London’s leading teaching hospitals including The Royal London Hospital, Barts’ and The London NHS Trust, and The Royal Free Hospital.
Dr. Nasir is on the specialist register with the GMC (General Medical Council) and appointed NHS Consultant Dermatologist at the Homerton University Hospital in 2017, running general and skin cancer clinics. She has a private practice at The London Independent in East London.
Dr. Nasir has a special interest in cosmetic dermatology and has completed an MSc in Skin Ageing and Aesthetic Medicine with Distinction.
She has presented extensively at international and national conferences and has multiple publications in high impact medical journals. She was awarded the British Association of Dermatology travel fellowship in 2016. Dr. Nasir is actively involved in teaching medical students and doctors and has organised and examined in medical undergraduate and postgraduate exams.
Dr. Nasir sees patients with a wide range of adult skin conditions including acne, rosacea, eczema and psoriasis. She provides medical, surgical and cosmetic consultations and treatments.
