Mr Raj D R Gowda

After medical and basic surgical training in India, Mr. Gowda trained in Urology at the Yorkshire Deanery, mainly at the St. James University Hospital, Leeds and the Pinderfields Hospital, Wakefield.

He is a member of the Urology specialist training committee at the Northern Deanery. He teaches trainees at a regional and national level. He has delivered many lectures to primary care clinicians.

He has led the Urology department at South tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as Clinical Director and also has served on the Medical Advisory Committee at the Woodlands Hospital.

In addition to treating patients with general Urology problems, he specialises in minimally invasive/endoscopic management of stones and laser surgery for stones.

His subspecialty interest is in managing benign and cancerous conditions of the kidney, with expertise in Laparoscopic and Robotic surgery.
