Mr Sugden is a Plastic Surgeon working in both The NHS and independent sector. His NHS practice is based at The University Hospital of North Durham, Shotley Bridge and Chester le Street and includes skin, breast, abdominal, hand and genrl reconstructive surgery. He offers private treatment at the Woodlands for many cosmetic, skin hand and functional procedures as well as some NHS treatments via the “choose and book” system.
He qualified from Manchester Medical School and after basic surgical training undertook specialised training in Plastic Surgery in Preston, Shotley Bridge, Leicester, Chelmsford, Middlesbrough and Newcastle. In addition he undertook further subspecialty training in Hand Surgery in Nottingham.
