Personal Profile
Mr Mark Thompson is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, based in the Suffolk and Cambridge area. Mr Thompson has a busy NHS practice at Addenbrooke's NHS University Teaching Hospital.
Mr Thompson studied dentistry at King’s College Hospital and moved to the local area in 2006. He was appointed as Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2006 at Addenbrooke’s Hospital with a special interest in head and neck cancer. He takes referrals for all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, from all major insurers and from self-referring patients.
Mr Thompson's basic surgical training was in the Oxford region and was followed by specialist oral and maxillofacial training in the north east of England at Middlesbrough and Sunderland.
