Personal Profile
Dr Louise Dolan was appointed Consultant Rheumatologist at Greenwich District Hospital in 1996. Her medical training took place at Newnham College, Cambridge and King’s College Hospital with her specialist training conducted at Guy’s and St Thomas'. Louise Dolan’s current NHS base is at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Dr Dolan has a special interest in osteoporosis and runs specialised clinics for this, along with the Fracture Liaison Service and bone density scanning, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. She also conducts specialist clinics in back pain and connective tissue disease.
Dr Dolan has published widely in both national and international research journals on the tropics of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis and polymyalgia rheumatica. She is also currently Clinical Director in Specialist Medicine for the South London Health Care Trust and lead clinician for Rheumatology.
