Personal Profile

Mr Khan is a fully U.K. trained Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon working in the NHS at Birmingham Children’s Hospital and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He is on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery.

Mr Khan studied medicine at King’s College Medical School in London graduating with distinction in 2004, and completing his specialist training in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in Oxford. He then completed further sub-specialist training fellowships in microsurgical breast reconstruction and cleft lip & palate surgery in Bristol and Birmingham, followed by a specialist Cosmetic Surgery fellowship organised by the British Association of Aesthetic Surgeons (BAAPS).

Mr Khan is fully trained in the use of all aesthetic surgical techniques by some of the best cosmetic surgeons in the UK. He regularly operates around the face, nose, breast and body, and aims to achieve the highest standard of care for his patients by providing safe and natural looking results. His main NHS specialist interests are looking after children and adults with facial problems resulting from cleft lip & palate, which includes complex rhinoplasty (nose reshaping) surgery.

He is a member of the British Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (BAPRAS), the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) and the Craniofacial Society of Great Britain & Ireland (CFSGBI). He regularly publishes in peer-reviewed journals, and has contributed to several book chapters.
