Mr John Iacovou

Mr Iacovou was appointed to the post of Consultant Urologist in Swindon in 1992 – founding the Department of Urology at the The Ridgeway Hospital and the Great Western Hospital. The department has developed and expanded to offer a comprehensive Urological service treating a complete spectrum of patients.

Available investigations & treatments include cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, adult circumcision, orchidopexy, all types of scrotal surgery for all ages, minimally invasive stone therapy, the medical and surgical management of bladder cancer as well as vasectomy.

Mr Iacovou has a particular interest in female and male incontinence and all types of cystitis.

Clinical Interests

General Urology with a special interest in prostate disease, female and male incontinence, all forms of cystitis, stones and cancer of the kidney and bladder.
