Personal Profile
Mr Moraleda is a Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon at University Hospital Lewisham, South East London. He has developed a special interest in otology, doing multiple visits to international hospitals and completed two Felllowships in Neurotology in the university Hospital Hallamshire (Sheffield) and Skull Base surgery in Guys and St Thomas (London).
He has a special interest in minimal invasive endoscopic ear surgery being one of the early adapters of this technique in the UK, avoiding the morbidity of the non-endoscpic approaches. He also has a special interest in chronic ear disease and middle ear reconstruction, including otosclerosis. He has performed a PhD in stem cell of the middle ear and has done research in Bone Conducive Hearing aids, having done lectured and written extensively in these areas internationally.
Mr Moraleda has a special interest in dizziness and vertigo. He has associated specialist links with audiovestibular medicine as well as vestibular rehabilitation giving a multidisciplinary approach to patients with dizziness.
