Personal Profile
Mr Hakim graduated with a first class Honours degree in pharmacology from the University of London King’s College. He then trained in medicine at the Westminster Medical School.
He trained in ophthalmology in London. He was senior specialist registrar at Moorfields Eye Hospital where he also undertook a Fellowship in paediatric ophthalmology.
Mr Hakim is a consultant at the Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
His main sub-specialist interests are glaucoma, cataract, paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus.
