Mr Howard Joy

I am a Consultant General Surgeon specialising in the treatment of colorectal disease. Since I qualified in 1993 from University College London Medical School, I have trained in general surgery throughout the West Midlands. After I was entered onto the GMC Specialist Register, I finished my training at The Christie Hospital, Manchester. This unit specialises in the management of locally advanced rectal, gynaecological and urological cancer. Since my appointment at City Hospital, Birmingham, I give colorectal support to gynaecology oncology during complex pelvic and abdominal surgery for advanced cancers.
