Personal Profile

Dr Musa is a Consultant Opthtalmologist and also the director for corneal services at Northern Care Alliance NHS, North Manchester. He was born in West Yorkshire but spent most of his formative years in Harare, Zimbabwe before returning to the UK when in his early teens to attend Batley Grammer School.

Dr Musa's training has been extensive and he has actively sought training in the most advanced, successful and safest forms of surgery.

Dr Musa is one of only a handful of surgeons who is fellowship trained in treating both corneal disorders and glaucoma. He values in taking the time to ensure all his patients are fully informed of all available treatments options and their relative risks and benefits, which he considers vital when making the correct choice for something as precious as your sight.

He approaches each patient as an individual with the aim to ensure that all his patients have the best possible vision following surgery.

Dr Musa specialises in implanting lenses that can correct your sight for near and distance vision simultaneously, minimising your dependence on glasses. This is achieved by using the most up to date equipment, his expertise, personal experience and the talented teams he works with..
