Personal Profile

Dr Langford is a Consultant in Cardiology and General Medicine at King's College Hospital Foundation Trust based at Princess Royal University Hospital. He was formerly the Clinical Director of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine. He set up the cardiac catheterisation and permanent pacing services at PRUH, which have run for over 12 years with excellent outcomes.

His NHS and private work cover the whole range of Cardiology and he has published research in many areas of Cardiology, including coronary artery disease, cardiac epidemiology, arrhythmia and pacing and cardiac disease in pregnancy. He also has an interest in sports Cardiology and has reported Cardiac screening tests for organisations including the FA. Dr Langford's clinic at The Sloane Hospital is on a Monday evening and at Chelsfield Park it is on a Tuesday morning.

Alongside his clinics there is a Cardiac Physiologist, enabling many patients to have any necessary investigations, such as echocardiography or ECG monitoring, at the same visit.
