Dr Fokias completed his Masters training in Clinical Psychology in 1991 and finished doctoral training in 1994 (University of Birmingham).
Completed training in Clinical Neuropsychology in 1995 (Institute of Psychiatry, London) and achieved Accreditation as a Cognitive-Behaioural Therapist with the BABCP (1997).
Dr Fokias has extensive experience in brain injury assessment and brain injury rehabilitation and in adult mental health (30 years). Formerly an Honorary lecturer at University of Birmingham and the University of Coventry and Warwick.
He spent twenty-eight years in the NHS (up to 2017). He was Consultant Head of Neuropsychology in NHS (1997 to 2017).
