Mr David Trew has been a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at South London Healthcare NHS Trust since 1994. From 2005 - 2008 he was Medical Director of Bromley Hospitals NHS Trust, creating clinical governance structure for Bromley Hospitals from 2003 - 2005.
In 1996 he created West Kent Eye Centre, designed to be a centre of excellence for ophthalmology outside of central London.
Previously Mr Trew was a Senior Registrar at Moorfields and Charing Cross Hospitals and a Research Lecturer in ophthalmology at St Thomas’ Hospital.
