Mr Jenkins began medical studies at Cambridge University achieving a Masters degree before clinical training in London. After basic surgical training he received an award from the British Urological Foundation which enabled him to study an MD in prostate cancer research in Newcastle University.
Mr Jenkins provides a broad general urological service, including treatment of kidney, bladder and scrotal conditions. He has a specialist interest in lower urinary tract function including prostatic problems, overactive bladder and bladder treatments. He also manages urinary stone disease with lithotripsy, ureteroscopy and percutaneous stone surgery for complex cases. Following surgery he arranges an investigation of the causes of stone formation and treat accordingly in order to reduce recurrence rates.
Mr Jenkins is an active member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons, European Association of Urology and British Medial Association.
