Dr Alison Jobling

Dr Jobling has been a consultant paediatrician for 18 years and have worked for all of that period in Stockport at Stepping Hill Hospital.

At the Alexandra Hospital, Dr Jobling looks after children and neonates with any general paediatric condition and has a special interest in teaching, Cystic fibrosis and ADHD. She is also involved more widely in hospital care as the Associate medical director for Women’s Children’s and Diagnostic division. 

Her clinical interests include all general paediatric conditions including:

• Urinary tract infections
• Coughs
• Gastrooesophageal reflux
• Infantile colic
• Neurodevelopmental problems
• Feeding difficulties
• Constipation
• Abdominal pain
• Headaches.

At Stepping Hill she is the lead for the care of the paediatric Cystic Fibrosis patients as well as those with ADHD.
