Personal Profile
Dr Ajith James trained in Nephrology in Barts and Royal London Hospitals and in General Medicine in Whipps Cross and Southend University Hospitals. Dr James was appointed as a consultant Nephrologist and Physician, jointly by Barts Health NHS Trust and Barking, Havering & Redbridge NHS trust in 2009.
He currently manages a dialysis unit in King George Hospital and is the clinical-lead for Renal Services in King George and Queens Hospitals. Dr James has wide-spread experience in nephrology, hypertension, general medicine and critical care.
His special interests outside his profession include, information technology and management. He is a keen badminton, tennis and cricket player. When not at work he enjoys spending time with his 3 children and spouse.
