Personal profile

Mr Keriakos has been a Consultant Gynaecologist within Sheffield NHS Teaching Hospitals since 2002, with a private practice at Thornbury Hospital.

He had his full training both abroad, and in Manchester and worked as a Consultant overseas for 2 years before becoming a Consultant in the UK in 2000. Mr Keriakos had advanced training in laparoscopic surgery both in the UK and France.

He has published more than 30 articles and research papers in international journals, has peer reviewed papers and presented at national and international meetings. He acts as a peer reviewer for more than 20 international journals and has reviewed more than 70 research articles. Mr Keriakos is currently a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Acute Disease.

He also enjoys holding the position of Chairman for British Society of Psychosomatic Obstetrics and Gynaecology, organising, chairing and participating in meetings and workshops at the RCOG World Congress, RCOG Annual Professional Development and International Society of Psychosomatic Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
