Personal Profile
My final training post was at Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham followed by Leicester Royal Infirmary. I gained further Fellowships in ENT from the Edinburgh College and the English College. I was appointed Consultant in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in 1992.
My role as a Consultant has allowed me to continue my interest in all aspects of ENT whilst developing specialist clinics in Paediatric ENT. I continue to operate in both adults and children.
I have provided training for both undergraduate and postgraduate trainees and act as a supervisor for them. I have been Head of Service and continue to offer help in management decisions. I have published in national and international journals covering a wide range of ENT topics. I have also been a trainee for East of Scotland trainees in Ear and Sinus teaching and helped run a specialist group for teaching management of Paediatric airway disease.
